A Senior Programme Support Officer is being sought to help deliver the £1.3 billion Swansea Bay City Deal. Working within the City Deal’s Programme Management Office (PMO), the Senior Programme Support Officer ensure the smooth running of the programme by supporting governance arrangements and preparing reports, contribute to the shaping of the City Deal programme and play a pivotal role in the development of proposals, research and events. Deputising for the PMO Manager when required, the Senior Programme Support Officer will have experience of working on large, complex programmes and projects with multiple stakeholders. The Senior Programme Management Officer will also have a robust understanding of portfolio, programme and project management principles and practices, along with experience of providing executive support to ensure business continuity, ideally within a political environment. A basic knowledge of Welsh is required to accomplish this post.
