The majority of PAs are employed to support people with tasks such as domestic chores (e.g. cooking, cleaning, shopping) and assisting people to carry out social activities. Being employed as a PA is not just about supporting someone with their personal care (e.g. assisting someone to wash and get dressed) but includes a wide range of tasks to help people achieve their individual outcomes and goals.
