Ref: HRA15242/8435

Due to the recent remodelling of Adults Social Care in NPT, we now have an exciting opportunity for two permanent Social Workers to join our Adult Single Point of Contact Service. The team is well-established and consists of Social Workers, a Nurse, Occupational Therapists, Community Wellbeing Officers and Contact Officers. We work closely together to provide an excellent service to the people of NPT under the remit of information / advice / assistance. Our Social workers will be referral thresholding in an MDT system, completing proportionate assessments and s126 safeguarding enquiries.

This is an ideal opportunity for two dynamic social workers who can find creative and innovative solutions to meet the outcomes of our residents. The team operates in a fast paced environment that focuses on evidence based social work practice, underpinned by a sound knowledge of the Social Services and Well Being Wales Act and Adult Safeguarding. We are looking for social workers who are passionate, analytical, empathetic, can use IT systems and who enjoy a varied and challenging case load over short periods of intervention.

You will have regular supervision, peer support, team meetings and resources to develop your social work skills and allow you to continually reflect and learn as part of your professional development.

We promote and encourage flexible working to ensure employees benefit from having a work/life balance; we will shortly be piloting a hybrid working policy and will be supporting staff to work both at home and in the office.

We can offer you secure employment with a competitive salary and generous terms and conditions including 24 days annual leave (rising to 31 days after 5 years continuous service) plus 2 extra days at Christmas, pension scheme and sick pay scheme. We have a Health and Well-being Group with a staff lottery and associated discounts, discounted gym membership, cycle to work scheme and an annual leave purchase scheme. We also have a relocation scheme if you are thinking of relocating.
