Salary: £30,451 - £37,890 per annum (depending on experience)

We provide a service to the community of Neath and Port Talbot. You will be joining a well-established multi-disciplinary team, comprising of Social Workers, Community Psychiatric Nurses, Psychologist, Occupational Therapist, Psychologist Therapist, Consultant Psychiatric and Community Wellbeing Officers. The teams work closely with primary care, Police, Health, Drugs and Alcohol Services, voluntary and private agencies, service users & carers.

We are seeking a full time a qualified social worker that have attained the DIPSW or CQSW or equivalent and be registered with Social Care Wales. Experience of working in mental health setting and Approved Mental Health Professional status under the 1983 Mental Health Act would be an advantage.

Due to the needs of the service, the post would require the successful candidate to be able to travel extensively throughout the County Borough Council.
