Salary: £30,451 - £33,782 per annum

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Social Services Commission Unit.

You will be required to monitor the quality and contract compliance of Housing Support Grant funded services, including generic and specialist floating support services, young persons supported accommodation and domestic abuse refuge provision. You will also support the development of the Housing Support Grant Strategy and establishment of new services.

You must have a thorough knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation and guidance, including the Housing Support Grant Guidance 2021 and Part 2 of the Housing (Wales) Act 2014, as well as good communication skills and the ability to adapt to a busy work environment where priorities change quickly.

The ability to travel throughout the County Borough is essential.

These posts require NVQ Level 4 Care / Management or equivalent, 4 GCSE’s Grade A-C or equivalent including Maths and English or Welsh, and the ability to utilise Microsoft suite of packages and a basic understanding of databases.
