The Service has separate Intake, LAC, Childcare Disability and Community Children’s Teams, and several teams providing additional support to families including Team Around the Family, FAST and the Multi Agency Placement Support Service.

We are currently looking to recruit a Social Worker in the Llangatwg Community Children’s Team. Based in the Neath area, you will be required to carry out work with children and families following initial investigations, with the average caseload standing at 13.

Experienced and newly qualified Social Workers are encouraged to apply and applicants are required to have experience (through placements or work) in Children’s Services including undertaking Section 47 investigations, child protection, the public law outline and care proceedings.

You must possess a relevant qualification in Social Work and be registered with Social Care Wales to be eligible to apply for this post.
