Information on post

The post holder will be based within Beaufort House, a supported housing project managed by the Housing Options Service. The post holder will assist a Support & Accommodation Officer in providing a range of practical housing related support services to clients within this and other supported housing environments within the Housing Options service.

The post holder is required to have a minimum of 4 GCSE’s A-C (or equivalent) which includes English and Maths and/or experience of working within a housing or homelessness service setting.

Access to suitable transport is essential as the role requires extensive travel throughout the borough.

This post is subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service Enhanced Disclosure

Welsh language skills are desirable.

Hours:37 hours a week, Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5pm, 8.30am to 4.30pm Friday
Contract:TEMPORARY Temporary for 6 months covering absence (with possible extension)
Location:Post holder will be based at Beaufort House, Groves Rd Neath There is a requirement to work at other locations including residents’ homes across the borough
