(SWTRA) is responsible for managing, maintaining and improving the strategic road network in South Wales on behalf of the Welsh Government.

The Works Programme Liaison Officer is responsible for compiling and monitoring the Central partnerships works programme, liaising with Supervisors and Route Stewards and external third parties to ensure a coordinated programme of activities is maintained.

They will be required to organise and maintain the vocational and National Sector Scheme skills accreditation matrix to ensure operatives are suitably accredited at all times.

The successful candidate will be required to have relevant experience in programming routine and cyclic maintenance activities, a good working knowledge of current Health & Safety requirements including CDM and a good working knowledge of trunk road maintenance activities.

You will possess a HNC in Civil Engineering, or a construction related discipline or hold a professional qualification to Incorporated Engineer level as a minimum.
