The South Wales Trunk Road Agent (SWTRA) is responsible for managing, maintaining and improving the strategic road network in South Wales on behalf of the Welsh Government.

The role of the Technical Administrator Network Occupancy is a multi-disciplined position to assist the Street Works Manager in ensuring the effective and efficient day-to-day operation of the systems and processes to enable the effective management and coordination of road space applications and internal noticing procedures.

Additionally, provide technical administrative support to the Network Operations team and Area Delivery teams in the management of network operations.

The post holder will make extensive use of industry standard IT systems and be experienced in their use. Previous experience in and knowledge of highway standards and legislation would be an advantage.

An ONC or equivalent level qualification is an essential requirement of the post.
