Salary: £29,636 – £36,876 per annum depending on experience

It’s an exciting time in Children and Young People Services as we continue to make solid progress towards our aims of achieving quality, supporting families and effectively managing risk.

We are currently looking for a temporary Social Worker to work in the SPOC/Intake Team based in Neath Annexe. Candidates must be qualified Social Workers, and have relevant experience in Children’s Services.

As a Social Worker within the Intake team you will be part of a committed and dynamic workforce. Working alongside families and professionals you will undertake assessments in line with the Social Services and Wellbeing Act which focuses on achieving positive outcomes for families, children and young people in NPT. The role also includes undertaking child protection enquires and, when required, managing the case until the initial child protection conference.

You must possess a relevant qualification in Social Work and be registered with the Care Council for Wales.
