Information on the post - To work within the context of the National Model for Regional Working in Wales, The ERW strategic plan, the Welsh in Education Strategic Plan, the council’s strategic objectives and other key local and national strategic planning documents, to promote school improvement across key stages. To build capacity within schools to maximise the learning potential of all pupils. To work alongside classroom teachers in targeted schools in order to support and challenge those schools to raise standards of achievement. Also to link effectively with the Standing Advisory Council for Religious Education (SACRE) and help to coordinate the annual Holocaust Memorial event.

The post requires a suitably qualified and experienced teacher who has worked in primary schools and/ or secondary schools.

Welsh language skills are desirable. Applications may be submitted in Welsh.
