To provide the day to day support to the Network and Programme Manager across a range of major functions, including overseeing the maintenance operations carried out by works contractors, while keeping account of costs and budgets, and to deliver a quality service with as little as possible disruption to the public. To undertake, and assist in the supervision of highway inventory and condition data collection, ensuring records are up to date and accessible through Network Management’s GIS. To assist in the implementation of the Directorate’s Geographical Information System (GIS). Help manage the Authority’s Local Street Gazetteer and ensure it complies with BS7666. Set up, oversee and analyse methods of spatial data creation for asset management.

Effective communication by way of technical documentation, as well as verbally and in writing is an essential for this post.
